Spine Doctor

As the premier orthopedic and neurosurgical providers for Vancouver, Portland, Lake Oswego, and the surrounding areas for over 50 years, Rebound Orthopedics & Neurosurgery offers exceptional spine care from our fellowship-trained and board-certified/eligible spine doctors so you can rebound.

The spine is an amazing structure that provides strength and support and allows for many different types of movements. It also has the important job of protecting the spinal cord. The spine is composed of vertebrae (bones), muscles, nerves, ligaments, and tendons, making it an essential, yet complicated part of the body. Because of its complexities, the spine is at high risk for sustaining damage and pain. While pain can originate in the spine, it often travels to other parts of the body. For example, a patient may experience low back pain resulting in numbness or a feeling of weakness in their legs. It's important to seek out the care of an experienced medical professional, such as an orthopedic spine surgeon or neurosurgeon, when experiencing spine pain. They have the advanced knowledge to perform an evaluation, provide a diagnosis, and develop a treatment plan based on the patient's individual needs. Consulting with a spine specialist is especially critical because, if left untreated, spine conditions and injuries can get worse over time, causing further damage and pain.

Committed to delivering specialized orthopedic and neurological care, we have developed our Online Guide to Back, Neck, and Spine Care.
